CITY TOUR This interesting city orientation tour enables you to see the picturesque city of Puerto Vallarta in all its glory. From the pier you will travel along the main highway to the Old Town.
You’ll then pass through the cobblestone streets of the city to the tropical gardens at the Cuale River Bridge.A stop will be made near the Gringo Gulch, where you’ll see from a distance the homes of Elizabeth Taylor and the late Richard Burton. You’ll then drive to admire the local beauty as you pass the elegant residential area of Conchas Chinas and the posh Camino Real Hotel. Making your way to the southern end of town, a photo stop will be made at a charming restaurant overlooking beautiful Banderas Bay. A complimentary beverage will be served on board the motorcoach during your trip. At the conclusion of your tour, a stop will be made near the Old Town area for you to have some time for shopping. Your guide will assign a time for you to meet to rejoin your motorcoach for the return ride to the ship. Should you desire, you may stay in the downtown area and return independently to the ship located at the northern end of the city. Please note: Those wishing to visit the Cathedral downtown, must be dressed appropriately (shorts are not permitted). Please wear flat, comfortable shoes, as parts of downtown require walking over cobblestones. |
